ANNUAL COMMUNITY AWARDS BANQUET

The El Paso Veterinary Medical Association  (EPVMA) developed the Annual Community Awards Banquet in 1985, and the El Paso Animal Hall of Fame in 1997, to unite the region's many diverse animal groups.  Celebrating National Pet Week every May for the last 22 years, hundreds of animal loving people from the general public and a wide arrary of animal organizations attend to support and recognize El Paso's significant contributors to animal health and welfare.

Honored by the Texas Veterinary Medical Associations (TVMA) as one of the most noteworthy veterinary public relations events in the state, the EPVMA received it's highest commendation--the "President's Award."  This banquet continously generates enormous goodwill among participants.  The EPVMA will hold it's 23rd Community  Awards Banquet in May 2008 In celebration of National Pet Week,  the EPVMA  will host animal organizations to celebrate the special bond between ourselves an our pets.

The public is invited to attend our annual banquet to join us in this annual event!  Tickets ( $35 per person) must be purchased in advance through Dr. Orlando Garza, East El Paso Animal Hospital, 3370 Wedgewood, El Paso, TX 79925.  Phone (915)593-1712 for more information.
